What is this newsletter?

I want to share what goes on at a working farm garden. Get in touch with the seasons through my work at the garden as we plant and harvest every week to provide our garden members the best produce, straight from the ground.

Who I am?

I’m Julie Moreno. A writer, gardener, farm manager, chef, and chemist (listed from most current to the not so distant past). I work at a local Community Supported Agriculture farm, mostly to keep me supplied in good food and to be my muse, as I write about how to cook at home and where our food comes from.

I love to take pictures of myself with giant produce. Just like people, produce comes in all different colors, shapes, and sizes.
